FastFin® System
The innovations that make BLR products so effective are deceiving in their simplicity – and the FastFin® Tail Rotor Enhancement and Stability System is a case in point. FastFin modifies the helicopter tailboom with Dual Tailboom Strakes and a re-shaped vertical fin. This optimizes airflow in a way that delivers big improvements in handling, safety and lifting. The key to FastFin’s effectiveness is its ability to reuse main rotor wash in an anti-torque roll, and increase tail rotor useable thrust area and efficiency. Operators enjoy significant increase in useful load, improved hover hold, reduced airframe fatigue, and lower operating costs, among other benefits.

Winglet Systems
The Winglet System increases overall wingspan by 3 feet 5 inches, providing an increase in wing aspect ratio and a valuable reduction in induced drag, allowing Beechcraft King Air to fly faster on less fuel. In addition, the Winglet acts as a physical pressure barrier, preserving valuable lift at the outboard extremity of the wing. By increasing wing efficiency, the BLR Winglet System provides superior handling qualities during slow flight, OEI and at higher flight levels.

Vortex Generators
Vortex Generators improve handling, particularly during take-off and landing, giving operators greater safety in engine-out emergencies. Short-field performance is also enhanced, with lower liftoff speeds, stall speeds, approach speeds, Vmca and shorter ground rolls.
