São Paulo, Aug. 13, 2013 — “In an effort to bring the industry’s best performance products together for your King Air, the three leading modification companies have joined forces at LABACE. Sharing booth 5005, Blackhawk Modifications, BLR Aerospace and Raisbeck Engineering will showcase all of their performance systems in one location so operators can make one stop to learn about how these systems can work together to make their aircraft the best performing for their mission.
By co-locating their LABACE exhibits (stand 5005), the three companies are making it more convenient for prospective customers to see equipment and gather relevant information about the performance enhancement options best suited to their needs and operational challenges.
Blackhawk will promote its “Blackhawk Strong” engine upgrade solutions for King Air 90 and 200 Series aircraft. The upgrades improve performance, reduce operating costs and increase resale value, providing a competitive edge and improved performance in every flight regime, from takeoff to landing. A King Air with new engines from Blackhawk will perform 25 percent better and realize savings of $50,000 in annual operating costs. Blackhawk upgrades are also available for the Cessna Caravan and other turboprops.
BLR Aerospace will promote its FAA-, EASA-, ANAC-certified Winglet Systems and LED Lighting for King Air aircraft. Winglets deliver reduced drag for better fuel economy, increased climb and cruise speeds, more responsive performance and stability, and safer low-speed handling qualities, especially during takeoffs and landings in short field operations. Winglets also increase aircraft resale, deliver a 100 percent return on investment, according to the Aircraft Blue Book, and are factory-installed on Beechcraft C90GTx and 250 aircraft.
Raisbeck Engineering will showcase its comprehensive line of Raisbeck Performance Systems for the entire Beechcraft King Air family. Raisbeck’s new Swept Blade Turbofan Propellers for 200-Series King Airs will be on display. Combined with Raisbeck’s EPIC Performance Packages, the Swept Blade Props improve the performance of Model 200, B200 and B200GT King Airs in all flight phases. Additional benefits include greater operational flexibility, the ability to carry more payload and operate safely into thousands more airports with true FAR Part 25 balanced field lengths, along with reduced cabin noise and stunning ramp presence.
Representatives from the three companies will be available to meet with customers and members of the news media throughout LABACE.
